If you were a TV watcher in the 90s, chances are you’ve seen Boy Meets World. Even if you didn’t watch it religiously, you likely saw an episode or two when there was nothing else to watch (you know, before Netflix). Either way, just hearing the series name takes me back to a simpler, innocent time.

The show tells the story of Corey Matthews. A middle-schooled kid trying to navigate the world. Audiences grew up with him. We watched him be a good friend, get married, and learned every important life lesson with him. In 2014, the spin-off show Girl Meets World hit Disney Channel, and we got to see some of the original cast reprise their characters and get back into the spotlight.
Here is what the cast of Boy Meets World has been up to since the show’s finale and after the reboot.
Ben Savage as Corey Mattews: Then
Corey Matthews is the main character played by Ben Savage. The sixth-grader lived in Philadelphia, where he attended Jefferson Elementary School. Fans watched Corey go through high school as the show progressed and eventually attend Pennbrook University with his friends.

Throughout the seven seasons of the show, Corey got himself in some trouble with his best friend Shawn, played by Rider Strong. His character learned many lessons from his teacher Mr. Feeny (William Daniels) and married his high-school sweetheart Topanga (Danielle Fishel).
Ben Savage: Now
The Boy Meets World spin-off aired on Disney Channel from 2014-2017. It surrounds Cory, Topanga, and their two children. The show mainly focuses on their daughter Riley, played by Rowan Blanchard. Ben Savage joined the new cast and even co-produced and directed several episodes.

His character Corey went on to become a history teacher. Meanwhile, Savage appeared on plenty of shows throughout the years: Criminal Minds, The Leftovers, Bones, Shake It Up, Without a Trace, and Homeland, just to name a few.
